Customers feeling burned by the anti-piracy measures in the long-awaited PC game Spore have decided to take out their frustrations on Amazon, utilizing the review feature to tear the game to shreds for its "draconian" DRM and "dumbed down" gameplay.

Signing Japanese developers would create 'uncomfortable, but unique' situation, says EA.

"RuneScape has entered the record books this week. The game has been recognised as the most popular free MMORPG in the world for the second year in a row, with a certificate awarded by Guinness World Records."

EA's biggest PC game of the year and the brainchild of renowned game designer Will Wright, "Spore" hits store shelves today. The game has won Best of E3 awards and been lavished with positive pre-release coverage in the gaming and mainstream press.

So why is it getting 8s and 9s rather than 10s? And what does Wright make of reactions such as that of the New York Times' review?

On Friday, MTV had a chance to talk to Wright about the response the game has been getting, giving him a chance to clarify the goals of his design team and to reveal how he's playing "Spore."

A classification for Dead Space has appeared on the Australian OLFC website, as expected it has been given the highest rating possible for a game, MA15+, what was not expected however is one of the finer details indicating that the game has been submitted twice.

Keeping with the Steam concept, Games On has also just received word that indie music-racer Audiosurf has received not one, but six new achievements, to further enhance your gaming experience.

You'll now be rewarded with a cleverly-named prize for things like dethroning a friend from a global scoreboard, beating a friend's score within quarter of an hour, collecting a 24-block match, or filling all columns within 15 seconds with no greys and no matches!

It's turning out to be a total conversion mod meaning new levels, new story, new weapons, and new everything. This means you get to be a nanosuite lightsaber jedi, and use the force in a Crysis world. mangobyebye has posted some of their current work, and I say that I'm very impressed, and will be looking forward to this mod once released. Looks like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is not all that original after all. Take a look at the AAT, Lightsaber, and a video showing off the force powers after the jump!"
